I never write reviews but I thought this deserved one. I was reluctant to take this it treats depression and since I have never been depressed. Finally decided to take it to quit smoking and I had no side effects while taking this whatsoever. I'm on my 4th month. I quit smoking after a week of taking it. I didn't crave cigarettes anymore. It was just the habit that you really have to kick ... Show Full Comment

I have been a smoker for nearly 50 years. For years I have tried to quit smoking and have tried many different products and meds and none worked. With Zyban, there haven't been any mood swings, the cravings are minimized.

After smoking for 30 years, my doctor gave me a Zyban kit. I started taking the Zyban - one a day for the first three days, then 2 a day after that. I set my quit date for 9pm on day 8. On day 8, at 8:30pm I lit my last cigarette. My first day not smoking was not too bad, although I couldn't stop thinking about it. Day two of my quit was a piece of cake. I even drove a 30 mile trip with ... Show Full Comment

I smoked for 25 years, and gave up with Zyban. I did have side effects but they are most likely nicotine withdrawals, which are awful themselves. After two weeks I had no side effects. Zyban takes away agitation, stress and the depression associated with giving up smoking. Cravings are short, fleeting and nowhere as intense as doing it cold turkey. I've read a lot of negative reviews on Zyban ... Show Full Comment

This medication is great for lessening the blow of quitting smoking. I didn't gain weight when I quit. I wasn't stuffing my face. Most importantly, I wasn't a monster to the people around me. I tried Chantix and that made me go crazy...emotional, depressed, and sick to my stomach. This medication is the way to go.
