Do any of you have trouble with family and people saying you are addicted? I believe if you are in pain you aren't addicted.

This medication works so well for chronic back pain (just one per day) the government is bound to regulate it out of existence. Recently enacted legislation requires practitioners to do drug testing of patients on a regular basis, driving the cost to the patient up astronomically. Before long a patient won't be able to go to the drug store and by aspirin without submitting to a several hundred dollar drug test. What a country we live in!

It is very addictive, so be very careful. If you feel like you have a problem with it, you should see a Dr. about the drug Suboxone to get off of it. It has saved my life! Be careful, addiction can happen to the best of us, before we know it!

I take Lortab 7.5 for Lupus pain and it works great. the only drawback is you build up a tolerance quickly and it wears off after about 2 hrs.

I have found that this medication does not ease pain very well. I suffer from a genetic back disorder called Ankolosing Spondilytis.

Prescribed for a concussion received after a fall on ice hitting the back of my head. Only helped minimally for the pain, but caused extreme nausea (like I really needed that, already had it from the concussion!), vomiting, insomnia (when I needed to rest), and gave me that shakes like you wouldn't believe! Also caused constipation, so this medicine pretty much made the first 3 days after a severe concussion miserable. At first I didn't know if it was the concussion or the meds. But after day 3 of this stuff, I'm sure it's the meds, because I feel better when it's worn off. i'm not taking any more!! Read More Read Less

After being on this med. i am thankful i no longer use it nor anything of this type. The side effects i didn't care for. The getting off wasn't easy. My suggestion, take OTC if you can avoid using any prescribed pain meds.
