Like most reviewers I am very dissatisfied with Ministrin. I've never felt so terrible. I have awful acne at 32 years old. I've gained 10 pounds in three months despite weight watchers and vigorous exercise. My breast have grown a size and painfully and I am so bloated I'm nauseous. I would never expect the drug companies to help so I'm asking others, has anyone found a pill that ... Show Full Comment

I was very happy with Loestrin and once I was about to go on my honeymoon I was told it was discontinued. My doctor claimed it was the same medication. I gained 15 pounds in 2-3 months. I was working out 5 days a week. I was extremly fatigued. I am someone who doesn't get enough sleep. I lived to sleep. I thought I was pregnant and so did my husband. I took multiple negative test. I am horribl ... Show Full Comment

I used to be on LoEstrin24 - and loved it! No side effects, no periods. Just ideal. LoEstrin24 was discontinued in September. At that time I was automatically put on Minastrin 24, which was allegedly the same medication, except it was chewable (why would that ever be the case when it's the smallest pill ever you can swallow it with saliva alone. Well, the pill could not have been more diff ... Show Full Comment

I took loestrin for 5 years before it changed to Minestrin. I noticed 4 months into taking it that I was experiencing mood swings, bloating, sore boobs, constant fatigue, acne, and no sex drive. I couldn't figure out why I was feeling so sick and anxious and depressed until someone mentioned to me that it could be my birth control. I looked up reviews and couldn't believe what I saw. It is ... Show Full Comment

I hate this birth control! This is my first time ever being on birth control and I have never been so sad and fat in my life. I gained about 6-10 pounds and grew from a 34 C to a 34DD in only 2 months. I've been addicted to ATMs because this product has made me nauceous almost every day. The chewable tastes absolutely terrible and I actually get sad when it's time to take the pill because ... Show Full Comment
