C-Acetyl Cysteine is a prescrption eye-drop medication. My opthalmologist prescribed it for my severe Dry Eye Syndrome. I place one drop in each eye, 4 times a day with good results.

I was given this to counteract a tylenol poisoning episode. I could not drink it so the doctor gave it to me through an IV. My blood levels showed a toxic amount in my system and was facing potential liver poisoning. Although it gave me nausea, it helped bring my blood levels back to managable levels within 24 hours. I feel it was very effective!
