I was on this drug a year ago 80 mg it seemed it was working well when all of a sudden the drug it self turned on me make me very sick iwas out of work for four months. the problem is due too gentic testing I can only take certain drugs like three where on the list the other two did not work. so here I am again on the same thing trying again at a low dosage and been out of work for six months thi

I am writing this because my husband is not able to.He had been taking medicine for depression for 20 years that had become ineffective. His doctor prescribed fetzima. He started with the first pill on Monday. Ifound him on Wednesday afternoon. He committed suicide. Please be so very careful if you choose to take this drug. I was on Citalopram for many years for major depression. Had anhedonia - inability to feel pleasure, which was probably caused from beign on Citalopram so long. When I tried Fetzima 40 mg, I sweated a lot and got some side effects when I went out to the grocery store. It is a strong medicine. Have tried every medication available for Chronic Fatigue and Depression. I still take 450mg of generic Wellbutrin and 120mg of generic Cymbalta (name brand way more effective bu got too expensive when a generic came out. Have been on Fetzima for well over 1 yr now. Started with 20mg, after a few days to 40mg. No side effects for me. After 3 months changed from 40mg to 80mg, 3 months later to 120mg. Also, take low dose of Wellbutrin. This RX has worked well!!
