This treatment ended me up in the hospital for 32 days (13 in intensive care) put on life support. Affected my lungs so bad that the doctors did not think I would live.They took a lung biopsy and found no bacteria or virus. Remicade definitely caused me to almost die. I had go to a rehab for 17 days and after almost 6 months I am still on oxygen. This drug is deadly. I will never take another rh ... Show Full Comment

have been on infusions for less than a yr at 8 wk intervals. not as effective as I had hoped, after 2-3 wks pain and stiff fingers and feet is back. The expense does not seem to be worth the results. Have had 3 sinus infections in the last 3-4 months, which also concerns me-I have had cronic sinus problems for a long time and do not want to go there again, as I had seemed to finally get the fre ... I have been taking Remicade infusions for 2 years and have had wonderful results. Occasionally I have a flair up. Then I take 30 mg of prednisone for 3 days, 20mg for 3 days and 10mg for 3 days. Its wonderful to know what to do when a flair up happens. I am 80 yrs old and I am still working 4 hrs. every day. I have no pain and very little stiffness. Was a wonder treatment until my liver enzymes became elevated and I had to stop Remicade.
