I've had 12 infusions so far, stared out with 200 mg every eight weeks and it relieved a lot of my symptoms ( pain and stiffness) but not completely, a lot better than before but there was still a lot of pain and stiffness although a bit more manageable. We increased the dose to 400 mg and it has worked wonderfully, I still get little reminders here and there on a daily basis that the RA stil ... Show Full Comment

Upon 3rd infusion had a terrible reaction, BP shot up to 210/186 and excruciating lower back pains and chest pressure. Was sent to ER, which was fortunately across the street. Dr said he will not give me Remicade again.

Have had Remicade infusions for 1.5 years. Felt somewhat better at times but don't know if it was the infusions or just the way RA comes and goes. During this time I have had numerous melanomas and two squamous cell skin cancers removed. Dr. is taking me off Remicade.
