I have developed many bouts of diarrhea from this medication. I cannot continue on it.

I am a metastatic breast cancer patient whose disease progressed to the bone marrow thereby causing severe anemia. Post chemo treatment I was prescribed this med by my oncologist to help keep my blood levels up. So far it is working. This is by no means a "low maintenance" drug to take. I cut open a week at a time put they in a pill container to take. CVS recomment, no food, no coffee and no laying down - when do I take the pill?

I have used this medicine weekly 4 times for about 6 months. My Iron levels came down a bit more and gave me side effects like weakness and weight loss
