I’m a 19 year old African American girl, I took this birth control and since my last period I’ve been bleeding it’s been 20 DAYS. Cant get pregnant if you cant have sex at all cause you bleeding. I’m not taking it anymore.

I received Deblitane for a few months when my other bc wasn't available at my pharmacy. Had really good results with Deblitane and asked my Dr to switch from my old bc pills. No extreme mood changes, sex drive increased, breast became fuller without too much discomfort, no acne breakouts, and my cycle was more like spotting for 4 days. Was originally prescribed Sharobel which was decent since I only had mild symptoms of mood changes around my cycle. My cycle would last 4 days, then lite spotting for 2 days. My weight gain was about 5 lbs, but I workout consistently to combat hormonal weight gain. Breasts would get fuller/tender certain months with lots of discomfort, and my sex drive decreased but some months it would be moderate. I love this birth control. I have not experienced any unpleasant side effects. I do not get my period at all which I fear is unnatural but also super convenient so I don’t mind. I would recommend giving it a try especially if you have estrogen related breast cancer history in your family.

my concern with this prescription, as with most birth control, is the irritability and depression it triggers. I was hoping with this just being progesterone that this wouldnt happen, but I just dont feel like myself.
