I've been taking this BC for 5+ years. When I first started taking it, it would make me feel very nauseated. I would take it before bed and when I was at the beginning of my pack, I would sometime throw up in the middle of the night. I have been on Tri-cyclen for close to a year now. I switched from Yasmin to tri-cyclen sine I was experiencing extreme outbursts of anger for no reason as well as acne. My experience has been generally good - it has not helped with my acne, but I no longer experience the outbursts. I loved this bc! I used it for 7 almost 8 years and never had any problems. I did gained weight but I think is more of a combination of life style choices and the pill than the pill itself. I dont even consider I gained that much, it has never been my issue. I used to have horrible acne before taking it and it cleared my skin, which made me really happy. Well it's effectiveness not so sure since I use condoms weather I take the pill or not. But gosh this pill make me feel sick I get loss of appetite and I feel like throwing up 24/7 I didn't even get these symptoms during my pregnancies. It's a horrible way to feel I can't wait to get fixed .

I was prescribed this birth control because it's a lot stronger then the other previous birth control's I've been on that didn't prevent pregnancy. I do like Tri Cyclen 28, It's doing it's job although it's not clearing any acne (which is fine, it's mild anyways) But It's causing horrible gas!! I mean like multiple times a day everyday.
