I did very well on Protonix. I was switched to pantopropozole and my condition got steadily worse. I had an endoscopy to look for cancer. They found some signs of Barretts Esophagus. I thought sure that I was in big trouble. After doing an internet search, I came upon these reviews and insisted the doctor switch me back to Protonix. I took the prescription to CVS and they tried to change it to Pan

been on this med for two months..pantoprazole 40mg....cough and clearing of throat stopped for awhile and is now back.also throat is hurts...does anyone else have a problem with throat hurting...I would really like to know..email is ; yankeejo_al@yahoo.com...thank you

I have been taking this drug for six months and have had no side effects or related problems. It has stopped my reflux, dry cough and swallowing difficulties and I'm very satisfied.

I was satisfied and comfortable for a while and then developed excessive gas, belching and diarrhea, which got so bad I've quit taking it altogether.
