It helped but I notice too many side effects. The dry mouth and indigestion are terrible. It has also swollen my lymph nodes but when I told the Dr. she told me I must be coming down with infection. I'm stopping the meds as I see now this is a serious side effect

its works good but it makes my throat burn like its on fire scary.but dont take it anymore,i think that it might have been old but if it burns your throat i would like to know so i know i am not the only one

I must say writing any reviews for meds that help treat any type of bipolar disorder is kind of a waste. I've real a lot and everyone's body/brain chemistry is soo different. But for me Depakote is one of (I believe 1--13) drugs I've taken for my bipolar disorder that has helped. But it deft. does make you gain weight but not as much as I thought.
