I think this medicine has definately caused a positive response for me. I've had the pump for 9 months now. I'm still not thrilled with the central line yet, but the trade out would be death. So it's working for me.

Update on this insidious drug. 7nth headache of my life due to this, continues unabated 2 years and 10 months later. Unquenchable thirst- ditto. Un relenting dizziness resulting in over ONE THOUSAND FALLS --still here. Results of finding doctors who will take it away or treat me--zip, zilch, nada, NONE. Pushed on terrified patient by lies on lies, on lies.

An absolute PAIN in the butt just to take this crap. On It for 4 months and was just given the option of living 6-8 weeks or 2 years IF I choose to continue to take it. I'm choosing the 6-8 weeks just to get rid of the problem.................................

The medicine keep alive but the Insurance company play games by disapproving referrals and pharmacy play games by not filling the referrals properly allowing Insurance company to charge higher co-pays an deductibles. The Health system is completely corrupted, the pharmacy over charge the medicine by thousands of dollars when the medicine is no longer patented and is generic bad, bad, bad taking advantage of the silk and ill.

hi, Does anyone have any information how they get this medicine covered? My insurance does not cover it. I have been on it since 2011 Dec. and has been working wonderful. Any help would be appricated. Thanks

began using melrinone IV in December of 2008 and am still using it. Is this dangerous to use it this long? Has improved my quality of life,but doc's continue to say it could shorten my life.
