I am 52. My doctor advised me to use Vagifem (prescribed for dryness) every night for two weeks then twice a week thereafter. I have been using tablet for the past 7 days. As soon as tablet is inserted I have abdominal pain. I am normally a happy person but am now experiencing depression. I am very bloated and have had a two migraines. I will find a natural alternative.

I have had unexplained nausea on and off and constant mild backache mainly on the left lower side of my back. I also have severe abdominal cramps during the night after using Vagifem as well as night sweats. I think I need to stop taking it.

This medication (10 mcg) is still too strong for me, based on my side effects. If Novo Nordisk ever comes out with a 5 mcg version,I'll try it again.

After inserting one pill, I started having cramping and spotting, followed by slightly heavier bleeding. I also am on Activella, which really helps with after Menopause symptoms. Love this but not so much on the Vagifem. I know I should try it longer than just one dose, but I had 4 days of spotting and some bleeding. Sex is not that great to risk the side effects. Yeah for Activella, boo to Vagife
