My satisfaction was with the encapsulated time released formulation in the light pink capsules. I still take the product, but without the same results. I tried contacting the Alan James Group to ask why it was changed, but they will not give any information. I used the pink capsule for years and got great relief from swollen painful foot & leg. The new red capsule is not the same - I had 100% relief with old formula and about 50% relief with the new red capsule formula. I will have to try another brand of Venastat now that I know the new formula is different and not as effective.

I had very uncomfortable pain and tingling from developing varicose veins, and venastat totally caused it to go away. As long as I take it twice a day, I have no more problems. My mother and sister had the same experience.

After having vicious feet and leg cramps at night I begin taking Venestat. As long as I take it I do not have the cramps anymore.

I used the original Venastat for 3-4 years for venous insufficiency. It worked great! However when the formula changed a couple of years ago, it caused me to have on-going nausea, so I had to stop. The venous insufficiency recurred a couple of weeks ago so I thought it might be o.k. to take it again. Wrong! After the first dose it caused nausea. I thought it might be a fluke so I took a second dose; I've been nauseated since. I miss the old product. I guess I'll have to start wearing support hose much to my dismay. Bring back the old product please!!Read More Read Less

I began taking venastat six years ago when my legs began to feel heavy and achy after standing and walking on concrete floors 10 plus hours a day. Product worked great the first four years but the effectiveness began to dwindle when the new red capsule came out. Please bring back the old formula!

I tried contacting the Alan James Group to ask why it was changed, but they will not give any information. The old formula gave me great relief from heavy painful legs, but this new formula in the red capsules is not the encapsulated time release formula that was proven effective in the major scientific study. I notice that they have also added Diosmin to it. I believe the Alan James Group is selling an inferior product and since the box still looks about the same, people think they are getting the same product. Please explain yourselves Alan James Group.....whoever you are, or just remain unresponsive and prove that you don't care enough about quality to at least let your customers know what is going on. We are not as clueless as you must believe we are.Since the Diosmin in the new product must be what is causing it to still be somewhat effective, this Venastat customer will most likely change to Venacura with Diosmin 95 and a store brand horse chestnut , simply because the Alan James Group seem to be untrustworthy. I am scared of them.Read More Read Less

I began taking venastat for leg cramps as I stand on my feet for hours. I had tingling in my feet and am not diabetic. This product has been a "lifesaver" for my husband and I. However, do agree with the other reviewer that if has changed with the new formula and not as effective as it was before. Please bring back the old formula!

The effectiveness has diminished since the formula was changed a year or two ago. Any chance of getting the original back?
