I have had headaches since I was a little girl, and taking this medication as prescribed has been very beneficial for me. Other drugs have brought on intense headaches from its use, but this medicine has been the only medication that relieves the pain. I took Butalbital for several years for my migraine headaches (which I've had since the age of 6), but had to stop using it in college when it began to interfere with my birth control, causing breakthrough bleeding and spotting. I'm still trying to find another migraine med that works as well for me.
