At age 9 my son was diagnosed with ADHD, hen Bipolar & later Aspergers later in the years. He was put on Adderall(didn't last long at all),Ritalin(behavior went downhill & grades dropped),then Concerta. Out of all these meds, I believe Concerta works the best. My son began talking this concerts about 7 months ago. He is fidgety & nervous. Sometimes he will talk my ear off and other times is quiet and unsociable. He is constantly picking. He has scabs all over his hands from picking them. He has completely removed a layer of skin from his thumb. He has no appetite. He is 5 ft 5 inches and weighs 77lbs. This drug is not for everyone. Within two hours of taking the first 36mg, my son was extremely agitated and threatening to punch me in the face -- totally out of character for him. After the aggression wore off, he was sick to his stomach, dizzy and pretty miserable for the next 10 hours until the drug wore off.
