I have used this for about 2 months. Bathroom trips have reduced by 50% probably. The dry mouth is giving me a fit, despite several glasses of water. I take it at night, to take advantage of the drowsiness side effect. It doesn't seem to work well when I drink alcohol. Overall I like its effectiveness, just wish I weren't condemned to taking a pill for the rest of my life.

My quality of life has improved dramatically. I can go places without the anxiety caused by constantly looking for a bathroom. I am on 2mg a day and I take it at bedtime. For the first time in years I am able to sleep through the night. I had to get up at least 4 times a night before taking Detrol.Slight dry mouth and dizziness the first week but side effects went away week two.

I have been taking this for years for overactive bladder. It works wonderful allows me to get out of the car, get my purse etc. out of the car and get into the house with out an accident. Now my insurance co-pay is up to $150.00 for 3 months . I have to start to look for an alternative medication. Lets hope I can find one. Lets Hope I can find some thing.
