    when i got mirena put in it was very painful and it took a couple of tries. I have had hair loss, no weight gain but no weight loss, acne, cramping, headaches, and heavy and long periods too. i'v been breastfeeding since i got it inserted 6 weeks after giving birth and have noticed that my little one has gotten sick alot. dont know if its from mirena but i have read its not good for babies so ...     It is gone! Just had Mirena removed less than an hour ago and good riddance! Hopefully I will stop having the spotting and get to a normal period, and be done with it! It didn't hurt at all, felt like my regular GYN visit (didn't take her 5 minutes to get it out). I do feel just a little cramping but nothing the ibuprofen can't fix.     I had the mirena inseerted March 08 and am getting it out april 08.I was never explained that it can express through breast milk, that I would be bleeding it feels like forever.Thank goodness I looked it up, because I thought somethign was wrong with me.ANd now i am worried that it is decreasing my milk supply even though it says nothing about it in the warnings.I have also seen a significant amou ...     For all the ladies who had problems with this product, I feel your pain. I had Mirena inserted in January 2008 and its now 3 mos later and I can't wait to get it removed! I can't stand the break through bleeding, leg cramping, mood swings, and constant migraines.     I had first heard about it when I was 7 months pregnant. I had researched it and luckily my insurance paid for the whole thing. I have had it for about 5 months now. I absolutely love it! I remember on the way to my ob/gyn I was so scared that it was going to hurt. I didnt feel a thing.
