Sheer regret!! I absolutely wish I would've never considered Mirena as an option. It's been a year since insertion & I've gained about 40 lbs, developed acne (at 29 yrs old!), my menstrual cycle has completely stopped, and my desire to have sex is now non-existent. Definitely dizzy, decreased energy, and excessive sweating. Can't wait to have it removed!!!

After my second son was born, on the recommendation of my best friend, an OB-GYN nurse, I tried Mirena. Insertion was a non-event, just relax and tak ... Show Full Comment

I am sitting here wondering weather or not to use Mirena. I am a single mother, 37 years old and I have an appointment as soon as my next period comes. I am reading these expierences that everyone is having and I am getting a little nervous. I know it doesn't affect everyone the same, but I really want to try it but nervous at the same time. Well I guess I just have to wait and see. I will sen ... Show Full Comment
