    Glad it worked for previous reviewers, but I had horrible side effects- skin changes, weight gain (despite working out 2 hours a day) mood swings, depression, insomnia, joint pain and many others. If it works for you, great, but for those of us it doesn't, it's truly a nightmare, and not just problems I blamed on the IUD. The side-effects (including the weight, thank heavens) went away a ...     OK - I read all this stuff before I had Mirena put in and an almost did not show for my appointment - I am 34 and have had 1 twin pregnancy (but never went into labor and my cervic never dialated)- for all of you who are seeking comfort read this --- I had the merina put in while I was on my period.     I am 22 years old and have no children, but am married. I have had the Mirena a month and a half. Insertion was very painful, but that is probably because I have never had any children, but my Dr. didn't have to dialate my cervix.     I am 39 and mother of a 6 and 3 year old girls. I had the Mirena inseted a week ago. Am experiencing light bleeding. The insertion was NOT BAD at all. It only lasted a total of 10 minutes, start to finish. Just took Advil prior. Had mild cramping and still have very little back pain that Advil takes away.     I'M A 29 YEAR OLD MARRIED WOMEN. I HAVE A 10 YEAR OLD SON .I GOT ON DEPO 2 WEEKS AFTER BIRTH AND MY LAST SHOT WAS IN MAY 07.
