It gave me fluctuating Bp and pulse . Dr should tell side effects before giving out.

Prescribed for severe lung/sinus congestion...unknown cause, w low grade fever. Caused prolonged ringing in ears, intermittent prolonged hearing loss in one or both ears for months after taking, muscle pain in right leg, irregular EKG, constipation (hard stool), tiredness, pain under sternum, temporary high blood pressure. THE SIDE EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICATION WERE TOO MUCH FOR ME TO HANDLE. CONSTANT HEADACHE, INSOMNIA, EARS RINGING, ANXIETY, UPSET STOMACH, LOSS OF APPETITE, DECREASE IN FOOD TASTE, DIZZINESS, FEEELING DISCONNECTED, LETHARGIC, DIARRHEA. PERSONALLY, I WOULD RATHER DEAL WITH BEING SICK THAN TAKE THIS STUFF AGAIN.

BE WARNED: Like others have reported here, I experienced an upset stomach and diarahhea from this drug. I stopped taking it after the second dose and will not take it ever again.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK ON THIS DRUG!! Yes it is a common antibiotic, but if you are like me, you should not take it. I have an allergy to amoxil and any others in its family. I took this drug for a simple sore throat, I was on day 4 of it and thought it was time I saw a doctor. They tested me for Strep and it came back negative, but they gave me an antibiotic anyway.
