    This paticular drug has worked the best for both my kids, one having ADD and one being ADHD with autism. I know its otherwise known as ritalin, but metadate CD releases in the brain different then Ritalin without near as many side effects.     At the beginning this drug was great I actually didn't start taking meds until high school for my adhd. I am a senior in college now at a very highly ranked college and have found that even with an increased dose the metadate is not working.     My son just stared Metadate CD 10mg once a day 3 days ago. Too soon to make any true evaluation yet. However I have noticed the beginnings of mood swings, and the "zombie" stare. Not to thrilled.     I was diagnosed with ADHD at age 12. I was very emotional, very troubled. I was abusive to my family and out of control. I was disorganized and manipulative when I wanted something. I was embarrassing and impulsive. When I was first put on this medication, it took a bit to get the dosage right.     ive been on this forever never helped my grades really was to busy with everything else which this is suppose to pervent but the biggest draw back i have is i cant sleep donts happen not to mention i cant be in groups of people freaks me out when i was younger i was the kid u saw and heard in school i had all the answers just couldnt get them from my head to the paper
