I started taking Remifemin when I was 48, which was the year I had my last period. I have now been taking it for 6 years. I only take one a day now and plan on going off it completely soon. My menopause was bad, hot flashes every ten minutes, 24 hrs a day, sometimes so bad I would get red from ankles and wrists then spread up to my body. These would last about one hour. Luckily I did not have to ...

have been taking for almost a year and it still has not elevated my hot flashes at all if nothing made them worse.

I've been taking Remifemin for 5 days, and I have never slept so well for over 2 years. I am 53, no period for 3 years and confirmed by my Gaenocologist I am menopausal. Hot flushes, sweat throughout the day. Migraines, low metabolism from a gym junkie to zero function. Now it's a complete reverse. Thank you Lord ??

I was on various HRT for about 8 years ) 50-58,) with much success in controlling the hot flushes. Periods stopped completely at age 57, returned for two weeks a year's later, had polyps removed and biopsy, continued HRT ( oestrogen patches and progesterone tablet once a day) period returned a year later, this time for a few weeks. Gynaecologist said everything was ok enough to go off HRT completely. I started taking Remefin as an OTC option for hot flushes as they began to creep back slowly over a few weeks. To my annoyance, within a few weeks, I had fatigue, hot flushes worsening, hot and cold sweats, nausea loss of appetite and dizziness that lasted over 2 weeks. Shortness of breath continued for another two weeks .. this occurred again in Jan 2023, six weeks after the last episode... All meds were stopped except Remefin . To my horror, I realised that this was the cause .. my hot flushes increased, sweats increased, shortness of breath and dizziness plaguing me. I stopped taking this supplement and they all started easing up...by day 3 felt heaps better and could eat ... I am very so upset that I didn't pick it up beforehand... Thinking I had vertigo or low blood pressure or anemia or even worse, bit ALSO, having to wait up to 12 weeks for Remefin to take full effect .... If I had continued, would I have got to the liver failure/ coma/ death stage? It's stupid taking something to ease hot flushes when it gives you worse symptoms and a few more for your continued efforts.. very scary... I would not recommend it .. Read More Read Less

I have only just started taking this herbal medication and nothing to report as yet. However, I am 39 years old and my sweating and hot flushes are on another level. I have my fan going most nights and even sometimes in the winter. I also get quite a bit vaginal spotting, so fingers crossed I get some bloody relief! If anyone else has a recommendation for this product and even others, please hit me up!

Menopause! Took me six months to realise, but first tried Bioceuticals - not helpful. Then started taking this last Monday. One week and I am impressed - hot flushes have vanished, and I feel so much better. I am very cynical about many things, so was not certain at first. But only two conclusions - either menopause has completely stopped (after only six months) OR Remifemin really works.

I was experiencing terrible hot flashes and night sweats for a couple months before I found this product. It took about 4 weeks to work, but it did take away my hot flashes and night sweats……for about 3 months. I’ve noticed they’ve started coming back, mild ar first, but starting to get intense again. I’m going to research some more and see if maybe I can take three tablets a day and see if that helps. I’ve read some people take that many. Still, the 3 months of relief was nice! I hope I can find relief again by increasing the dose. Read More Read Less

I am 10 months into treatment with Remifemin. I do not experience any bad symptoms, but I only take one pill ever day. Sometimes I accidentally skip a day, but cannot see any difference versus a day when I take it. I am not sure if it helps - but surely it doesn't hurt, at least until now.

I have taken this Herbal supplement on two different occasion and both times I have experienced vaginal spotting. I went into menopause at age 36, due to chemotherapy. It does work to stop my hot flashes and helps me get a good nights sleep. I like it overall, but I will reduce my intake to one time per day to see if it stops the vaginal spotting. I certainly do not want that.

Amazing! I was suddenly hit with hot flashes every couple hours and what seemed like all night. I started by taking the directed two pills per day. Within about a week and a half my symptoms were completely gone. I now take just one per day before bedtime and my symptoms have stayed away. I am so glad I found it!

I was on HRT after complete hysterectomy. I have tried numerous over the counter grubs (non-HRT) with no relief until I found Remifemin.

I am 42 years old and due to endometriosis and endomyosis, I had to have a full hysterectomy in January (everything, tubes, cervix, etc.) out. I was suffering with surgical menopause (which is worse than gradual menopause - I wasn't even close to menopause prior to surgery), i.e., hot flashes and sleeplessness. I started Remifemin one month ago at the request of my gyn. I opted to not take HRT due to my endometriosis. After 3 weeks, I am feeling wonderful. Hot flashes are coming less and less, sleeping better. I feel good and calm. I would recommend anyone try it if you are suffering from the same ailments I did. Read More Read Less

I'm 51 years old, and two months ago started having night sweats that caused insomnia so severe, I was waking up every hour to half hour at night. I was also hot flashing during the day, maybe one every couple hours or so. Tried a whole bunch of remedies, then read some interesting studies about Remifemin. I'm the LAST person on earth to put her faith in herbal or other alternative medicines, but I was at my wits end and could not get in to see my doctor for another 8 weeks. I've been on Remifemin—two pills a day—for 14 days now. I also take valerian at night. And I have to say, I'm impressed. I only have maybe 2 or 3 hot flashes during the day, and I only wake up a couple times at night now. Unlike previously, I cool down quickly, and go right back to sleep. I see my doctor in a few days and will confirm with her that it's safe for me to continue to take this. Read More Read Less

After going off of HRT and experiencing horrendous hot flashes and night sweats and trying other herbal supplement, I found Remifemin. It has truly been a life saver. My hot flashes and night sweats have diminished quite a bit. I was taking two a day and now am down to one a day. That seems to do the trick. I would recommend this product.

Omg! I had breast cancer, and ended up trying to take tamoxifen. That stuff was awful. By the time I came off of it, i was suicidal. My life.no longer existed. Only the hot flashes, depression, irritability. I rarely left the bed, even though I had severe insomnia. It was hell. I finally seemed to get that out of my system, the tamoxifen, but the hot flashes never went away. I remembered black cohosh for menopause symptoms. Worked like a charm! I am now sleeping through the night without hot flashes. I take 20mgs every 8 hours. I can't live without it!!Read More Read Less
