To start off, I am (or at least was) completely new to birth control methods. Aviane is the first and only birth control I have been put on and my reason for going on the pill is primarily for birth control. Before I started, I read tons of reviews, good and bad, just to get a feeling on what to expect. It has been two weeks since I've been on Aviane so I'm not sure how helpful my review w ... I've been taking Aviane for 4 months and just today I've decided to stop, only because it has caused horrible cystic acne on my chin. Otherwise this pill was great! Barely-there short periods, no nausea or discomfort, no anxiety. I'm sad to go off it, but the acne is not worth it!

I haven't had a good experience with Aviane. I have been taking it for 3 months and then I called my OBGYN to switch to a new rx. I went off bc for about 5 months and then went to a new OBGYN and she prescribed me this and I have had nothing but an awful exper ... Show Full Comment
