When taking this medication, i feel so much better, no hot flashes or night sweats. My libido has also increased. I have tried at least 2 times to wean myself off of this med but the hot flashes and night sweat returned. Within 1 week of restarting the medication all symptoms resolved.

I was prescribed this led and I took it for three weeks. I’m that three weeks time I had the worst night sweats I’ve ever had, I was sleeping for 9-13 hours a day a still sleepy, I did loose some weight, and a dull headache. I’d rather be fat and happy then sleeping all day. I’m on the next day off and I am still tired and I have brain fog. I did not have any of these issues before. I’m trying acupuncture next.

Been on HS dose for about 20 yrs. Started during menopause for migraines. Had tried everything else. Have tried several times to go off but the migraines come back. Have been diagnosed with hormonal migraines. The price keeps going up, can't afford it much longer! Very sad!

I've tried everything and this is the ONLY med that has worked for me. The patch, estrogen pills, the ring and premarin cream were not effective and gave me cystic breasts. This med did not and took away my vaginal dryness and burning. Now my insurance is refusing to pay saying it is not FDA approved! I don't understand because my doctor says it is!

Have been on estrogen for 13 years following g a hysterectomy. I changed to this drug to get a small dose of testosterone. I developed a very itchy facial, neck and chest rash. Went off this drug and back on twice to see if it happened again and it did. I have a high tolerance to most things and have even taken testosterone injections. I've never had an issue like this before. Nor this rash. I definitely won't be trying it again.

I had a complete hysterectomy in 2004. Took estrogen originally but I got fat and tired and was depressed. No energy. I went off of everything cold turkey. I had no sex drive and felt like a different person. I was given this in 2007. My sex drive and energy level went through the roof! I felt like myself again. However!! I lost almost 1/25 of my hair. I use rogaine. I have to take another drug now for acne. I have dark spots on my neck and sometimes on my face that require fade creams. There are some serious side effects with this and I caution anyone to be prepared for them. I was always a 'tomboy' so this makes me feel more like me but I would love to have my hair back. I hate the acne breakouts at the age of 53. The spots aren't so bad I can't live with them. Will I stop taking it? No. I'm not sure why people are saying they can't get it anymore. My prescription is Estrogen & M-Test 1.25/2.5 MG. One a day but I cut them in half and take a half a day. Think long and hard before you take this. The acne and hair loss are significant for me but to never want sex again...........I'll live with those two problem. Read More Read Less

I was suffering from traditional menopause symptoms at a severe rate (soaking night sweats, fuzzy brain and mood swings) but worst was the migraines. I had SEVERE migraines daily, my bones hurt, I was very weepy, could not do work that involved writing and was generally miserable. I on this med for three years and my life almost immediately did a 180. I am fit and in shape, have a very upbeat disposition, no menopause symptoms at all.

This has really worked for me. I feel kind of dead without it. My husband thinks it is great too! The price for it has really varied so do some research.

I have taken this medication for over 2 years. I have found it most effective, only problem is most insurances don't cover and have to pay out my own pocket and now seems to be hard to find.

Surgical menopause in 2001. ( Complete hysterectomy ) After trying a few other medications, found this one. Nothing could enhance my life more than this drug. Sleep well, libido is through the roof, no hot flashes or mood swings. I call it a wonder drug. So what if I added a few extra pounds or may have to pluck a few stray hairs from my face. If I were to have no money to purchase this drug, my friends and family would take up a collection to buy it for me...it makes that much positive difference in my life !! Hearing rumors it may not be produced any more??? Price has tripled lately and it is hard to find in stock. Anyne else hear this ?Read More Read Less

After my hysterectomy it was prescribed for low libido and hot flashes. It has been wonderful for those symptoms, plus I feel better energy wise and it seems my head is less "foggy". Negative: after about 6-8 months I'm starting to see facial hair and have acne like I did at 16. Hate that, but it's probably worth it. I can treat the acne and pluck the hairs.

After taking this for 5 months, now have 1 breast very sore, extremely sensitive nipple to touch and some pain and throbbing. One lymph node is very sore. Have had ultra sound and 3D mamogram and cannot find anything wrong. Am going to quit this for a while to see if soreness leaves.
