All NSAID medications were declared to be inappropriate (and dangerous) for use in Heart Failure patients years ago. Only Tylenol, which is NOT an anti-inflammatory, and a weak opiod - such as hydrocodone - can be used in advanced-CHF patients. Ive been taking these off and on the last 20 years. they seem to work still but i take only when needed. I dont believe there is going to ever be a full relief from pain. So doc's if it works they them have it. If not them recommend something different. Most of the patients im sure not abusing this treatment.

Comment:
Fairly major dental work, in moderately-severe pain with swelling. Prescribed this Rx, took this as prescribed -- lifted the pain, far more comfortable and able to function comfortably and resume working in about 24 hours.
