I have TMJ after severe head trauma from an accident, and was taking this for extreme jaw and facial myalgia. Of course, then my doctor flipped out and weaned me off, and I am back to having my jaw pop out and grinding my 20k in dental work down to nubs each night, and my jaw is so stiff and locked every morning and it hurts to smile and eat. It helped me alot, and I only used as prescribed, then

I HAVE BEEN TAKING IT FOR YEARS TO AVOID BACK SURGERY. IT HAS WORKED GREAT FOR ME, ALTHOUGH IT SEEMS IT IS VERY EASY TO BULD A TOLLERENCE TO THIS MEDICINE,IN WHICH MY DOCTOR HAS TO INCREASE IT EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE

This medication seems to be easy on my systems, but doesn't do much for lower back pain.

Took meds for herniated disc - took bare minumum to get thru the pain 3 a day. When dose was increased I began itching terribly and unable to sleep - apparently a allergic reaction to the drug (codeine family of drugs) no put on Ultracet - not as effect for pain, however much more functional without the side effects.

I suffer from osteoarthritis in my right hip and I am supposed to take 500mg of Hydrcodone 4 times a day. I only take 1 tablet on weekend nights when I don't have to go to work. It knocks me for a loop. I sleep very well taking it and it reduces the pain. I don't want to get addicted to this stuff so I take it only if I can't stand the pain anymore.
