with a knee replacement the drug has been very effective, but is under very strong watch from the food and drug adminastration and the doctor will not keep you on it long enought,it had been stopped two months to soon,

One dose has been good for 6 hours. After that I experience severe naseau and badly burning feet.

I have been taking hydrocodone for over a year now. I have chronic pain all over my body and still the dr.'s i've seen don't know the cause. I went from 5/500 6 times a day to 10/500 up to 8 times daily. They are effective when i first get up in the morning then after that they don't work as well. Also constipation is a big factor when taking this med also. Beware of that. Not fun! ... Show Full Comment

I had a slipped veterbrea for 13 months and my only hope was this medicine which was very helpful. It allowed me to function fairly well before and after my surgery to allign my spine and hold together with metal screws.
