I have been on Methadone 60 mgs...(30 morning and 30 at night. I have been taking it for pain that I received from an accident years ago. I've been taking it for appx 2 and 1/2 years and would very much recommend to anyone with moderate to severe pain. I have a fantastic pain doctor who works closely with me. Methadone works for moderate pain only. If you are post surgery it does not work.

I have been on it for 3 years now it's the best medication I have ever been on (and I have been on all pain medications) I was on 95mg. And it took me a year and a half to get down to 10mgs. But I have been on 10 mgs. For awhile now and it works great it should be used for pain management by more doctors.
