After taking Lipitor for a couple of yearsit did keep my cholesterol down, but it has left me with aching leg and back problems,I can only walk about 20yards and then have to sit down for awhile to recouperate.have stopped taking it ,some signs of improvement, but I think it has caused permanent damage to my leg & back muscles.

took lipitor for 2 months and with each passing day was becoming more exhausted,my limbs felt like leaden weights and were tingling. My leg&arm muscles felt very fatigued. Finally stopped taking it and within the week felt fine& normal again.I don't know what my Dr. will suggest next but I refuse to take this drug again.

Legs are very weak and ache in the morning. Will try abstaining from Lipitor for a few days to see the results.
