After 3 weeks of use, I developed hives and severe itching on my abdomen and thighs. When I stopped use of the product, the itching disappeared but the hives remained for 2 weeks.

After less than two weeks use of topical minoxidil on my scalp, I began to develop a severe skin irritation in my armpits, chest and belly. I also experienced unexplainable weight gain (over eight pounds!).

This product does work. I am a 35 year old woman with mild traction alopecia. I started seeing results after about 6 weeks. One side effect that I was not expecting is that I am getting hair growth in places I don't want hair. Be careful to cover any minoxidil-treated areas before you go to sleep.
