I take this drug for recently being diagnosed with RLS, originally at .25 mg in the evening. The first 4 days I slept better but woke up to headaches, each day the headache got worse. I cut the pills in half, I still have great results sleeping and no longer wake with headaches! So far so good - 3 weeks into this program!

Am a 62 yr.ole woman with chronic RLS;took Mirapex for many years and switched to the generic Pramipexole due to ridiculous cost of Mirapex. Take 1.5 mg four times a day. Med works well for RLS, BUT has VERY SEVERE sign effects such as Paranoia, Hallucinations, Delusions, eyesight and memory problems. Need this drug for the RLS, but now seeing a Psychiatrist for Zyprexa, psych drug stabilization. ... Show Full Comment

I've been taking Pramipexole for RLS for about 2 months now. My dr will only let me take it at night because of his fear of side effects. I shake throughout the day and sometimes have symptoms of RLS throughout the day. At night it seems my legs get worse. My wife wakes me up just about every other night because my feet "dog paddle" while I'm half asleep or fully asleep. Sinemet made me ... Show Full Comment

I use it for restless legs. If I take it early, it works. If I wait too long after my legs start jumping, it takes too long to work.
