i started my meds at 4 on a sunday night ,they said i should have a bowel movement within an hour of your first drink,almost 8 hours later and i feel pregnant and extreemly uncomfortable,i managed to drink almost the whole thing and my stools are still not quite clear and i have my scope at 3 today ,they better still do it ,or excuse the pun the shit will hit the fan

I received instructions from Mayo to follow their instructions and not the instructions on the package. I'm glad I did, it was smooth sailing. My procedure is Friday. I did not eat anything solid on Wednesday or Thursday - and my Thursday night prep is no problem. I drank it at room temp and did not get cold, no nausea, and clear (yellow) water within 3 hours. I have had to take this on two different occasions. The first one was from being backed up and constipation. It certainly worked. The next time was before a colonoscopy. It did not come with a flavor packet and I didn't realize you could put Crystal Lite in it. Wow, all I can say is get some Crystal Lite and chill well. I was freezing while drinking this stuff - took many hot showers to warm up. Also have edema and light headedness.

for something thing that is supposed to "empty you" I would have been just as far ahead to take imodium to be honest. over 2 litres drunk and two days later no movement of any kind and a sever burning in my throat from the stuff. never again.
