I started taking 2mg a day about a year ago. It started out ok, but then it's effectivness seemed to wane. Dosage was increased to 4mg at my one year checkup and results were much improved. No more urgency, weak stream, etc. BUT, and here's my problem, after about 3 months, sympthoms are all back. It seems like I build up an immunity to it. No side effects at all.

Constant urination especially at night. I take 4mg in the am, and 4mg, at night and still sleep only two hours before it's time to urinate once again. Seems to work OK during the day,( most of the time) but definitely not at bed time !! WHY???? Blood test shows all is within normal range, and liver function is normal.... Prostate, slightly enlarged, or so I was told... Tommygee913@msn.com
