husband has been on it for the past 4 months for DVT that then went to PE. it took a great deal of time for the drs to regulate it to where he was at an acceptable level, it would run low then high then low then back up again, just recently has it become stable. there are a lot of side effects with this medication that are scary but with any meds there are a lot of side effects, you just have to b

I was given Coumadin oral in the hospital because of afib. I stay dizzy, kinda disoriented at times, swelling, bloated, just to name some of my side effects. I don't like this drug because I can feel the changes in my body.

I go to have my blood taken every week and my doctor gets the results the next day. Since I have been on it we have not been able to keep me stable on the medication. Its been hard watching what I eat and making sure not to miss a dose.
