I went to the doctor because I was at the end of my rope. I felt like I was in prison. I haven't been able to lose weight since the birth of my child 8 yrs. ago. I had my gall bladder removed 1 1/2 yrs ago. Having that removed caused more complications, not being able to eat a normal portion of food without it causing massive stomach pains and the runs.. So! for over a year, not eating alot with e...

Why isn't my comment positing? I gained weight on phentermine. I gave it a bad review so what do I have to say it's good in order for it to allow my comment. Ok I'll change to someone satisfied but in all reality it was a waste of money. I don't know how everyone is losing weight. I did lose my appetite which was great but I could sleep that night. I had to take it every other day so I could...

My Dr. prescribed this to me almost 2 months ago (I am going on the third month of meds in a week from today) and I have lost 20 pounds. 20 pounds in about 60 days. I have experienced minimal side effects. Within the first month, it just made me feel a little wired, like I had too much caffeine. My Dr. upped my dosage to 30mg for the second month, and for the first couple days I had trouble staying asleep, but not falling asleep. I was also a little constipated with the new dosage, but it eventually remedied itself. Stool softener helps if needed. The only other major side effect I've experienced is an increase in libido. Like an otherworldy increase. Not unwanted but definitely weird. I have not really been more active, I am sure if I started to work out the weight would literally fall off! I no longer crave snacks or empty carbs at any point in the day, and it is way easier for me to portion my meals, as I barely eat what I put on my plate. I've had good experiences over all with this medication. Read More Read Less

I have the WORST sweet tooth/sugar addiction!! It just overtook my thoughts. I was fine in the mornings but as soon as I had lunch, I NEEDED SUGAR! I couldn't stop thinking about needing sweets and finally I would give in, and and I would just binge! Binging on sugary foods certainly did not help my weight of course. I finally felt the need to see a doctor about getting help. I felt so out of control. My doctor talked to me about Phentermine. WOW, did it take away my sugar cravings! I also experienced dry mouth (which eventually went away but as others have said, a good reminder to drink more water) and it took my body a while, to not feel hopped up energy- wise. I only take half a pill and I feel like that is all I need. For me, this has been so incredibly helpful! Definitley go see a doctor, DO NOT get it randomly online, as it may not be true phentermine. I am so grateful for this drug and my doctor for perscribing it. It has done wonders for me I have control over my thoughts and I'm not consumed about tthinking about sugar.Read More Read Less

A good head start. This medication works in combination with healthy eating. It makes it easier to follow a diet as it stops the cravings. You will still feel a little hungry which is good because you need to fuel your body. After a few months it stops working but by then you have already trained your body not to crave sugar and your stomach has shrunk which allows you to continue your diet without medications.

I was considering a baritric surgery in the process, my primary Dr recommended to give it a try. For me has been a very useful medicatication, I have anxiety disorder, to I eat due this. This medication not only has help.me tomlower my weight but to reduce the anxiety, Im.notmlonger with anxiety.to eat. And I see continue progress, of course you need to keep an appropriate diet. In.my case I eat oatmeal in the.morning with some fruits.or eggs. Green V8 an antioxidant V8 juice. Only protein beef,.pork or fish and vegetables. No sugar or carbohydrates. Water for.my weight 3 litres a day I mixed the water with lemon extract and also eat lemon directly along the day. So far I didn't have secondary effects no dry mount or severe sleep issues. Everyday I see improvement on my thinking process an feel better when I wake up, compare to before the medication. Exercise is highly recommended but we need to start with small things. So it can be sustainable. Hope this help others. I didn't have too much expectation at the beggining but it had work for me.Read More Read Less

Affected my sleep, made my lips blue, affected leg circulation, overall made me feel bad. I did lose weight in first few days, but then my weight stayed the same, no loss. I followed a 1200 calorie diet and still my weight did not move. My blood pressure also shot up. Waste of money. I am now going to follow a plant based whole food eating plan modelled on Dr Gregor from Nutrition Facts.

I will give you my honest to god review of using this medication. To preface, I’m a 25 year old female, 5’5” and struggle with weight due to polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). I’ve struggled with weight my entire life. In the beginning of highschool I was 130lbs and by the end I was 210lbs. I lost weight in unhealthy ways the first time and got down to 140lbs when I was 19 years old and then gained it all back and then some during COVID. In December of 2022, I was my heaviest at 245lbs, nothing was working. My primary suggested Phetermine, 37.5mg. I started this in January 2023, I lost weight quickly and I was having side effects - I just ignored them and hoped they’d go away - which they did. I couldn’t sleep, had to force myself to eat and it quite literally felt like I was on speed or something because I was loopppppy. But they subsided. By March of 2023 I was down 40lbs. And then continued to lose weight, I’d say 5-10lbs every month up until I hit 150lbs in September 2023 and I’ve stayed around 150 since. THATS 90lbs GONE. I went from a size 18 in pants to a size 8. I went from XXL to M in most clothes. It does work, at least it did for me but you need to change your lifestyle and diet with it otherwise all that weights coming back or you’re just taking a pill and defeating its purpose if you’re not changing your ways. The side effects do go away, it just takes a couple weeks. The only one that didn’t go away for me was dry mouth, but this helped me with my water intake. I drink about 150oz of water a day now which I did not drink hardly any water before. If you’re here looking to see if this medication works, just like I was. I can say it definitely does, if you’re willing to work with the medication and help it do its job. I hope this helps some of you, and I wish you the best in your weight loss journey! I had gotten to my heaviest ever (220, being 5’4”) I lost 116 llbs on my own, then hit a wall. I started 15mg 10/24/23. Today- 12/9/23 I’m at 184. I really like the medication, it has helped me drastically change eating habits and portions.

Can only give a fair rating in stars because I'm only 2 weeks into the script 37.5mgs...... My name is Tracy, i am 41 years old and my starting weight is 255...I am about 5 ft 1 inches tall so i a,m considered morbidly obese..... Ok, so I might have picked the wrong week to start taking the medication because I got Covid and have had Covid for almost 2 weeks now and started on the medication for 1 week so far.....My goal weight is 185 (I weighed that much 10 years ago)....I have faith and hope that it will do wonders....I work 3rd shift, and do manage to have physical activity for a job. Instead of weight lifting, I'm doing stocking and unloading at a grocery store....currently my sleep schedule is all out wack because of having Covid. The Paxlovid they gave me for Covid made me lose taste and smell, as well as gave me dry mouth so even if the phentermine did as well, I wouldn't know the side effects of the phentermine yet alone.....so today is week 1 of taking phentermine without another prescription interacting with it...I can say I usually am very tired if I don't get enough sleep but after 5 solid hours I did feel rested...I haven't weighed myself since prescribed and don't want to until a month into it....I have stopped eating all the snacks...I do not have much of an appetite yet...I'm not overeating although, I've only had 1 cheat day where I ate a fried jumbo shrimp dinner and a sundae.....But after not eating with Covid all week, I treated myself.....My main goal besides losing the weight is to change mindset, and only eat when I'm hungry, and when I do eat, Eat smaller portions and limit the amounts of Carbs....I'm hoping I can continue to feel energized as well....I also hope that once I go bk to work this week, the weight will slowly come off so I don't crash so bad from anxiety, or my heart racing as sometimes being physically active alone I get almost like fatiqued nd nervousness going on....I'm hoping and praying for the best outcomes, and will update after a month of being on it and weighing in after 1 month.....wish me luck!Read More Read Less

10 mg of prescription Phentermine (not internet copycat) Lost 11 lbs first month. I am also using this drug for AD/HD so my symptoms are different. I am experiencing calmness and ability to focus. Appetite under control but I do believe I will need to increase dosage as a progress. Dry mouth is only negative side effect. Taking in morning, never at night.

I started taking 15mg of Phentermine the first month I lost 10 lbs. The 2nd month I was moved to 30mg and lost about 5. I'm on the 37.5 the 3rd month and it seems to he staying the same weight. I realize I take it in the morning then don't eat for a few hours. I will change this and not go long between eating. Is it possible for the medication to kick back in where I lose more weight or once I'm at a certain point it's reached its maximum result? Can anyone relate or answer? Also I eat a bowl of fruit with peanut butter every day. I love fruit. Is this not ok? I don't eat any sugar, candy, soda, ice cream etc. Hardly no breads, no pasta etc. I eat low fat greek vanilla yogurt with blueberries and a little high protein granola daily. Thoughts? I need to lose 40 lbs. Read More Read Less

Ok, so I think that people who are stating that they didn't lose wieght on phen, were not using real phentermine! They have them under phenemine, phenemin, phentermin eithout e at the end and so on. All those meds are fake. I had problems with this because i purchased fake one on internet, rherefore it didn't work. Went to see.my PCP and got phentermine 37.5 prescription. In 3 months i lost 60 lbs. AlL i did i stopped taking sweets and tried to stay around 50 net carbs per day (you can always burn that much walking 5 miles) , i added 3 to 5 miles walk per day and started eating more vegetables. I did have problems with sleep first few weeks. But my doc said to take it around 6 am and that helped because i was going to sleep around 10 pm. Another good thing to do is eat apple when you thing you are hungry and nuts. Make sure you take oatmeal few times per week and dribk at least 3 l of water because your mouth will be dry. Good luck. And yes it works! Read More Read Less

4 days to go of my 3 month prescription. Start weight was 105kg . Lost weight quickly at first , 4 kg in the 1st week . My goal was to lose 20kgs and hit 85kg . With 4 days left I’m weighing 86.6kg . I removed all takeaway food and soft drinks Eg coke etc. I still drink my beers because I love my beer . I exercise a little but the biggest change was not eating crap . I can’t believe the weight I’ve lost and the ease that I’ve done it . Super happy and now the next phase begins ….. keeping it off . Read More Read Less

My doctor prescribed this in June and to date I am down 20.5 pounds. I am almost into the healthy weight and bmi range. I will say that I feel I'm starting to plateau and we are discussing an increase in milligrams. I wonder if the people who have left reviews stating they have not had any results got their medication from a pharmacy or bought it online. Pills you get from the internet, 99% of the time are sugar/fake pills.

Started taken phentermine I was 5ft 7in and weighed 275. Lost weight immediately with no side effects. Going on my second month after losing 35lbs. The only problem is my insurance will not cover the cost of this medication. I pay full price out of pocket, but it is well worth it.

Was taking 25mg every morning started feeling energized very first day (or should I say night because my doctor told me to take just before going to bed, I questioned him and he said yes) didn't sleep for 2 days. I took for 3 weeks. Felt jitters, nauseous, faint, kept forgetting what I was doing or saying and tried to let my doctor and his office know but they wouldn't listen to me. So needless to say I stopped taking the pills after 3 weeks of torture and am looking for a new doctor that actually cares what they give to their patients. Read More Read Less
