Your mouth gets really dry but keep drinking the water and you will be fine. I had a slight headache here and there but nothing 2 aleve couldn't take care of. I am 40, 5'2" and 161 lbs. I work out regularly and have an active job. In taking this med I was looking to curb my appetite and speed up my metabolism. My goal weight is 135. I have only been on the medication for 3 days and I can hardly believe how little I think about food and how much energy I have. So far the only side effect I have is dry mouth. Because of it I am drinking tons ... Show Full Comment

I started taking this medication after I went to a desk job and gained some weight. I have changed my eating habits especially at work. Lots of fresh veggies and fruit. In the 3 weeks since I started I have lost 12.5 pounds and feel so much better already!! only side effect was dry mouth which by the way helped me drink lots of water.

Taking this weight off slowly, over time has really helped and I feel it will go a long way to ensure my continued success because I hav ... Show Full Comment

Started taking Phentermine about 4 months ago. Start weight 299; current weight 249. I still have about 40 pounds to go. I am very pleased with the results. Dr. Marlowe in Charlotte, NC has been fantastic in helping me figure out what to do in the tough times. I would recommend this to anyone fitting the parameters for prescribing.
