Because I have difficulty swallowing large pills and uncertain that the pills would be as effective crushed,I opted for the liquid form on the advice of the pharmacist. This made my UTI worse. I had severe stomach pain and it kept me up at night. The symptoms of my UTI have become much more of a nuisance than they were before.

The only problem I had was swallowing the large pill. I cut the pill in half and that way I could swallow it.
