While the original liquid Beano was very effective, the new tablets are almost useless unless you take half a bottle of them, and that would probably give me indigestion.

I will not take this ever again. Within an hour, I had watery diarrhea, was nauseous, sweaty, and couldn't stop belching. I'm hoping I don't vomit like others.

Beano helps a LOT with gas symptoms when eating certain vegetables. I was also very pleased that is helps when I take magnesium citrate supplements for constipation. The magnesium works wonderfully but it was giving me gas. Now I take 1 tablet with the magnesium and the gas is MUCH reduced. (You can also find Equate capsules 100 count at Wal-Mart at good price.)

To me it's very expensive. I do not suffer indigestion or any other side effect or discomfort. If you have allergies read the ingredients. There's quite an odd combination of stuff in Beano ... I had enough gas to keep the US from ever suffering a natural gas shortage! One Beano with meals solved the problem! I feel great and can now eat the vegetables I didn't dare eat before.
