I started taking it after I got my gallbladder removed a few months back. I have taken beano 4 times since then and only one time did it actually work. I would take the pill and eat my food. Then a about an hour or so later I would feel nauseous and vomit all food that I had eaten. Not a great feeling. The next day after finally able to sleep, still feel sluggish and stomach cramps are slig ... Show Full Comment

I bought this because I've seen the commercials for years. I'm glad I decided to read the whole back of the package before I took it. I'm allergic to fish , I was very surprised to read there is cod, flounder ,and red fish in this stuff. There isn't any kind of warning about it on the package!!! I could've died if I took this!! There Should be a warning on it!! It's just li ... Show Full Comment

Although it is physically easy to swallow pills, I felt taking three before a meal was a little excessive. That's a total of almost 10 pills a day to avoid gas and bloating if you use it before each meal. The pills were not only ineffective in keeping my flatulence to a minimum, it was worse and smelled awful. I was so embarrassed in front of friends and family. Like many, I tried Beano one mo ... I was bloating severely after almost everything I ate for months. Thought I had a gluten intolerance, then thought I had candida. I did two different $ cleanses. My stomache would distend and was very crampy and uncomfortable. I finally removed all carbs and sugars from my diet for two weeks. I lost 11 pounds and can now only eat complex carbs and wheat if I take beano with my meal. It's a god ... Show Full Comment

I have had excessive gas, so many tests to try and figure out what is wrong. I was unable to go anywhere, the gas was embarrassing. Working was out of the question. My Gastro doc told me to try Beano. I take three before each meal, and no more gas, nor side effects. I have a job interview in a couple of days!!! Beano is giving me my life back.
