    I was on it for 9 weeks. My side effects were to numerous to mention all of them.I hope and pray they will all go away. After taking myself off of it ,since the AF returned, I feel much better. My breathing has greatly improved and many of the other issues have as well. This drug is going on my list of allergies. I NEVER WILL TAKE IT AGAIN !!!     I have been taking Amiodarone for the last 8 years at 400mg per day. I have experienced such things as tingling and pain in my feet, my back hurt so back I could hardly move at night. When I would walk very far my legs ached severely. I have been sun sensitive, sensitive to the heat and cold. I must say though I did not have a breakthrough for almost 8 years.     I developed life-threatening complications with this drug only after dose had been cut in half! Problems developed slowly, as drug is stored in body fat and takes a long time to leave body; drug had done a good job of controlling my a fib for several years; then I was seen by an MD that did ablations; I wanted to see if I was or might be a candidate for this procedure; that MD cut the dose in half ...
