At first the doctor had to keep upping the dose as it did not seem to last long in a short time was up to 4mg. When I tried to go off it my RLS symtoms worsened and I was in extreme pain.

I was given this line of treatment for my RLS.
I find it very beneficial. I just don't like
taking 4 pills thru out the day. They do upset my stomach and I have to eat with the morning dose. I take 1mg tabs q.i.d. It is the medication that has helped me. I can tell if I miss one, I'll suffer for at least 1/2 to an lhr. with unbearable movement of my legs. My mom,2 brothers and 1 sister also hav

Last night was my first night taking Requip .5mg. I only took 1/2 pill then had to take the other half about 1 hr later. Seems to have worked completely but as again, I just started taking it.
