I've been taking Adipex for a month now and have lost 15 lbs. The only side effect I suffer from is extreme thirst (especially the first week I started the pill). I was advised by my doctor to visit her once a month for a blood pressure and weight check. I've changed a few things in my lifestyle. NO soda/pop, limited on the fast food I eat. I was just prescribed this medicine and haven't started it yet due to my concern of me being on an antidepressant for anxiety disorder. Anyone else have this disorder and take adipex without any problem>

1 week ago I started taking Adipex. Stuggling to loose the last 30 pounds. I am down 6 pounds and have no side effects. Sleeping is good...I take late morning and eat 5 small meals.

I'm 5'10/was 232 lbs, battled my weight most of my life. I'm the only one I know who gained 30lbs on Weight Watchers! Even the Adkins nurses were stumped as they tracked me walking 5/13 min miles 7 days, low fat/carb/cals, although they did consider potential underlying factors such as cortisol. I started using adipex in June of 2013 and I am a 45 yr old female. I weighed 188 lbs and am 5'6. I was at the Dr. for foot pain but also had been getting heartburn and some lower back pain and put it together that my steady weight gain since hitting 40 was probably the problem.
