I have been diagnosised with IBS and was on another medication. After my gallbladder was removed that medication no longer helped. Since taking this medication, once I have had my morning dose I am good for the rest of the day. This has given me a better quality of life. There are still some things that I have to avoid but not having to be within running distance of a restroom that is a sacrifice ... Show Full Comment

Use it to stop chronic diarrhea after a gallbladder removal. It works very well when taking 1 dose in the morning and 1 dose at night. I take it in apple juice (4 oz). I have been taking it for 4 years with no side affects.

This has helped and its great to be able to eat things out or at home that I would not be able to eat if not taking this medication, the only problem I have had is I am beginning to get leg cramps I think it is because I am also on vytorin for high cholesterol, other wise its been a great help.
