I experienced all the side effects listed: tiredness, muscle aches, stomach upset, itching,and headache. I hope to not take it again. I had none of these effects with Cipro.

Having to take this medication twice a day- I feel it has helped some -But don't think it's goona clear up the infection-I feel nauseated tired and have headaches as side effects- Don't like this- wish there was something different to take for UTI,S.

This medicine worked for my cerebral palsy daughter a year ago when she had UTI. She has trouble swallowing a pill or capsule. I open the capsule and sprinkle it in small amount of applesauce. It cleared up her infection. She took it for ten days. She now has another uti and is taking it again. This is her second day on the med. I did not notice any side effects when she was on it before. The side affects I have are: nausea, headaches, lethargy. The first night I experienced chills so badly by teeth chattered.
