I was on Trinessa for 6 years when my doctor decided to switch me onto Microgestin. It is by far the worst birth control pill ever. It gave me chronic yeast infections and horrific headaches. Switching back onto an Ortho Tri-Cyclen generic ASAP.

I've been on and off the pill for 15 years and just recently started microgestin 9 months ago. The side effects to this pill are pretty bad and I didn't connect them until reading other reviews.
PROS
1. I'm not pregnant, so I'd have to at least say its effective.
CONS
1. Break through bleeding/early periods: I take the pill every morning, at the same time (give or take 5 minutes), and sti

I started using this BC right after a menstrual cycle to regulate my periods after miscarrying 3 months prior. Within 2 weeks I started bleeding for 6 days straight then it switched to I'll stop bleeding at night but around the sametime everyday I started right back bleeding it would not stop. After 18 days straight of bleeding I stopped taking it and never will again. I also felt depressed and go
