As recommended by my neurologist, I recently tried Zomig (nasal spray) for the first time instead of Migranal or Maxalt to treat a migraine. What I noticed different was that my migraine actually got worse before I had any relief of pain. This treatment has been very effective for my son's migraines. It almost instantly gives him relief for his migraine headaches. Sometimes the side affects include, some minor aches here and there, and constant sneezing. Other than that it seems OK!

I have suffered migraine headaches since '84. I am on a regiment of preventive RX's but when a migraine strikes & OTC medication does not work, ZOMIG is the only thing that I have found effective to get rid of the pain. After being diagnosed, I was first given Imetrex with bad side effects. We decided to try Zomig. I worked wonders. I usually take one 5mg tablet (doesn't matter when during migraine) and it's usually gone in an hour. Makes me tired, sometimes maked migraine worse before better, but then completely gone.
