My 11 year old daughter was prescribed this medication for a double ear infection. The second day she developed pain in her abdomen and watery diarrhea. I wasn't sure what to do so I stopped her from taking it and gave her kaopectate. Then I read on this site to NOT give anti-diarrheal meds. Now what??? this is the worst drug out there. I quit taking it on April 29th and I am still itchy rash, now I am on steroids ....

My 20 month old daughter, who is normally happy and cooperative, became aggressive,withdrawn and uncontrollable on this medication.

After taking this 4 days, it has caused my whole mouth and throat to be covered with thrush. My symptoms never disappeared. I have never experienced a discomfort like this in my mouth and throat.

My son has been prescribed this multiple times for a variety of infections by the local spaced out doctors who don't listen to us. We've tried giving it to him a few times in the past two years, just to see. The first time refused to drink this (mixed in a variety of drinks - and I'm a master medicine drink mixer).
