My 11 year old daughter was prescribed this medication for a double ear infection. The second day she developed pain in her abdomen and watery diarrhea. I wasn't sure what to do so I stopped her from taking it and gave her kaopectate. Then I read on this site to NOT give anti-diarrheal meds. Now what??? If I call ER they won't talk to me and will want me to bring her in. Is there an 8 ... Show Full Comment

After taking this 4 days, it has caused my whole mouth and throat to be covered with thrush. My symptoms never disappeared. I have never experienced a discomfort like this in my mouth and throat.

I was diagnosed with a middle ear infection, and sore throat. I developed horrible diarrhea! I was able to take only 5 days of this medication, and still am experiencing the side effects!! I do wish the doctor/pharmacist would have pointed these side effects out to me, stating also on the bottle these symptoms could last for months after taking the meds!!!! Take this product off the list.
