Contrary to many reviews here... I have gone through an entire bottle and am on my second. I thought it was common knowledge that if you take any drug - you should have a snack with it or have eaten prior (at least with vitamins). I have never had a single issue - and I am fairly active. I haven’t had any kind of pains or nausea. I am not sure if I have noticed a difference or if it is placebo but...

Took this multivitamin when my generic wasn't available. After several months I started to develop severe joint pain in my legs & knees. Thought I was getting early arthritis with pain getting worse by the month-walking became painful. Fortunately, I ran out of vitamins when out of town and didn't take them for 3 weeks. Miraculously, the severe pain completely disappeared! I was so thankful to hav...

My experience with this multi vitamin was sever stomach issues including nausea and vomiting(even with food). However, I do know, by looking at the label, that one-a-day contains cyanocobalamin, which is a synthetic b12 vitamin derived from cyanide. It can cause several adverse drug reactions like itching, erythema, and wheals. It can also have the following adverse effects: Shortness of breath (even with mild exertion), swelling, rapid weight gain Pulmonary edema, congestive heart failure; peripheral vascular thrombosis Hypokalemia--leg cramps, irregular heartbeats, tingling/numbness, muscle weakness, or limp feeling Numbness or tingling and joint pain Fever Swollen tongue Itching or rash Polycythemia; cyanocobalamin can unmask the underlying polycythemia. Patients with myeloproliferative disorders like polycythemia vera have an increased prevalence of vitamin B12 deficiency, despite high serum vitamin B12 levels. STAY INFORMED & STAY HEALTHY!!! ????Read More Read Less

I used this vitamin for years and never had an issue. The new formula gives me a headache and upset stomach. I stopped taking it for a few days to see if the side effects were unrelated. I felt fine and then started taking it again. Same problems. The new formula is missing some key ingredients. I'm going to switch brands Bring back the old formula!!!

I started taking this pill to help with my metabolism. Not to hate on this pill but you have to eat something before you take it other wise you will have nausea and throw up. The other side effect would definitely be a headache. I have pills I take to not get headaches but the one a day pill will cause you to get one and become dizzy or fall ill.

My husband and I bought a bottle each and we both had nausea and stomach pain after taking the vitamins for a couple of days. We have never before had any bad symptoms while taking vitamins.

Its just vitamins and minerals. It got no side effect on the body whatsoever. These comments here are hilarious to read. I can easily picture the nerve wrecks who left them.

Took right after a meal-almost instant nausea, splitting headache, weakness, turning stomach, feeling of wanting to throw up. Never again.

Bought the Men's 50+ bottle with 300 tablets. After the first 30 I have given up trying to avoid nausea. I've taken many vitamins, from numerous brands in my 50+ years. These are the only tablets that make me sick to my stomach, not just occasionally, but every time I take one. The remaining 270 tablets are going in the trash.

I have been taking this about 4-5 days now, I’m 24 and it’s my first time ever taking multivitamins. 1st I took it without food and it made my head hurt so bad for about 40 mins then the next day I took it with food my head started hurting immediately again but it wasn’t as bad as the day before so I thought maybe my body isn’t use to it and I also took a probiotics with it those two days so the Thursday I took it by itself my head still ended up hurting. I was like okay let me try and talk half until I can replace it with the gummies version because obviously the dosage maybe too strong or something, Nope I’m laying here researching why my head hurts because my head hurts again! by even just taking half of the pill. I’m not sure why I’m having headaches but I can say after the 40 mins of pain I feel refreshed and ready to go but I’m not taking these anymore something isn’t right about it for me.Read More Read Less

I started taking a daily multivitamin in my mid-20s at the recommendation of my doctor. Definitely take this multivitamin with a full meal - I have taken shortly after eating, or with a small meal, and have felt so nauseous I could not continue on with my work day for 30+ minutes. That being said, I have also noticed increased trips to the bathroom, both to go #1 and #2 after taking this vitamin, but I'm not sure if that is necessarily specific to the brand.

I have been taking this vitamin for 20 years and in the past year or two have been having severe dizziness, irritation across my back, neuropathy in my legs and recently during lab tests have shown extremely elevated, unexpected results. Never thought it could be my multivitamin!

No stomach issues or other problems. I just wonder if these pills are enteric coated and being absorbed or are my stomach acids destroying the vitamins before my body can use them.

I've been taking this One A Day Vitamin for years. A friend who is a pharmacist recommended these vitamins, and I find them to be the only vitamin I have taken that causes no problems at all. I have a sensitive stomach, and have had reactions to other vitamins, but this is the best. Also, it doesn't contain some of the questionable ingredients that some vitamins contain.
